first: i am undertaking an ele. fan install and would like to know if shorter bolts are needed when removing the fan (i.e. will the bolts that hold on the pulley to the waterpump be to long when there is no longer a fan there.)

second: I purchased some lights from the online store and, probaly my fault, they are the wrong ones. was anyone returned anything to them, is there a printable form on the board somewhere or what info is needed..

thanks

jim

I didn't have to take the bolts off. I could be wrong though...No I checked you don't have to take that pulley off or the bolts.

just did an electric fan ( great mod) and you do not have to remove the bolts. I simply took a breaker bar and slid it down between the center shoulder of the pulley and two bolts ( to keep it from spinning) then with a wrench, with a little hit counter clockwise the fan was loose and you just un-thread it..
