Talking Iridium plugs

Has anyone read the new MM&FF article about the iridium plugs. I seem to remember reading a post that one of our tuners tried them but my search couldn't find it. What ever happened with those plugs in a L. In MM&FF they tried them on an aftermarket blown engine.

Although those plugs are a pretty penny, for 30 dynoed horspower top end I think they pay for themselves

Also....where can you buy them????

I wouldn't believe those dyno numbers but I think Jim@JDM is testing them in his '01.

My take on Iridium

Also check out the attached .gif!

Iridium is not listed on this image, but in those threads above I list the conductivity of all the metals used in todays plugs. You'll find Iridium listed there (it's as bad as platinum for conductivity).

Come on Tim. The new guys need to learn the function of the search button. This iridium plug thing has just been beat to death here on this board. Most of what the new guys want to know is already here if they will just spend a little time looking. Am I and a lot of the others tired of What plug, what tires, what mod? being asked over and over and over. I sure as hell am.

Why not just ignore it then? If you want to make a point post the link and kindly remark about using the search feature.

I can't believe you wasted your time on actually looking it up and posting subject headers yet no links to them. One "?"...WHY? Whatever your thinking was isn't helping. You're gonna run newbies off and that is NOT what we want to do here.

If we don't have "?'s" like these then what are we going to have? Let's treat everyone fairly here everybody.

WE NEED LIGHTNING SUB-FORUMS!!!

P.s. noelvm, I still love ya man <G>

Things change man

Its worth it to bring up old topics periodically, cause WE are always learning new things. I don't know how many times I have opened up one of these so called "old already been answered" topics to end up learning something new.

So what kinda plugs do you run Noel ?

noelvm,

Why don't you just sign for good? Apparently you know everything about our trucks. Your snotty comments are really unappreciated. As a matter of fact why don't you apologize, to everybody.

I second iaf150's comment. Take a hike noel..who made you God lately

I have been on the board since the middle of 1999, and still find new, BUT SAME SUBJECT posts, bring up new ideas. Since I am "older", my memory is not as good as it used to be.......GUESS YOURS IS PERFECT

Nuff said,

It is and was from a meteor that hit the earth. Do you doubt science? It was proven many a years ago and still to this day is how Iridium got here on Earth.
