Thumbs up New times out of my 01

I made it to the track last week trying for a 12, but the stars must not have been aligned right. Here's the times. I still want some 12 sec passes on the F1's though.

R/T--- .633
60' --- 1.892 <----Taking off @ idle flashing the convertor 30psi in the F1 tires
330---5.437
1/8----8.340
1Kft--10.872
1/4----13.008
MPH--104.98

I only got to make one pass because some older car spit it's transmission all over the track causing a 1 hour delay. I believe it was a chevy

Mods include:
JL Diablo chip
JL ram air
PSP lower pulley
NGK TR6 plugs
Bell Tech 6400 shackles in the rear
key pad mod

Thanks JL and PSP great products. I'll have my 12 soon!!!

Damn, you're right at the edge. Good run. You'll be there with some cooler air.

Good runs

My 01 is also JL equipped and F1 tire raced only.
You should definitly look into switching to the JL #3 or #4 lower pulley. It did wonders for mine.
JL DIABLO CHIP
JL RAM AIR
JL #3 LOWER PULLEY
Crown Vic Electric fan
F1's 35psi, 1200 rpm launch, 1.855 60ft
12.63 @ 107.71mph

Keep up the good work

Lower your air pressure about 4 or 5 more LBS, that will help your 60 foot times. Also with some cooler air I feel a lot of 12 second runs in your future.

I have simillar mods, and I am in the 12's on my F1's so I know you will be there real soon.

keep on truckin

Thanks guys. I plan on going with a Metco upper pulley system next although I wish the JL pulley would have been out a little while back. I also plan on getting the JL power cooler and relocating the battery in the near future. The only down side is I'm moving to Colorado and I doubt the truck will run as good in a 5000 foot enviroment. I was wanting that 12. lol Oh well I guess I'll have to come down from the mountains just to race. It just amazes me that a truck with a few bolt-ons can put those kind of numbers down with stock rubber.

Again thanks,
Bill
