Unhappy stupid question about JDM flip chip... I forgot which way to flip

hi all,
Listen, I know this may sound like a dumb question, but I'm driving across town today at lunch to let a buddy of mine at another dealership try out my old JDM flip chip. I only used the race program about twice. I don't have the paperwork for the chip anymore.

Here is my question:

Which way is the switch positioned for the street program?

If I remember correctly the milder of the two programs is when the switch is leaning towards the notch in the little threaded housing. Is this correct? I don't want to send him off on race mode and potentially cause any damage to his engine or tranny.

thanks in advance.

later,
chris

You'll probably need to call to make sure which side is which- when I got one I had two street programs burned, so I'm sure it's whatever you want as to what side it's on, but maybe JDM defaults the street/race programs to specific sides....probably should just call.

Chris,

Jim always sets the street program on I and race program on II.

Look on the side of the switch and you will see the marks.

I would also call Jim and ask him if you have the 100+ octane race program. Jim does not program 100+ octane anymore. All 93.
