Talking SNOWPLOW MAKES THE 12s

Cold front came thru, high 71 we'ge goin to the track tonite. Another 78 treck to Mecca at the 1/4 mile strip. First pass 13.026 ughhhh. Bp is 30.15 humitiy is 30% temp is 70. Come on baby. Next run at 7.52. Temp has dropped but humidity is going up 13.013 AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
Back to lanes lines are unbeliveably long. Remove bed mat, remove tail gate, Take drink cooler out of front seat, a real sacrafice, turn mirrors sideways. Its do or die. Sit in staging lanes THREE HOURS. Well, needless to say, truck cooled way down, temp is now 54 degrees but humidity has gone up to 75%, not good. Temp gauge is pegged cold. Finally get up to run. Start truck when 3rd back and let warm up to first peg. Well, its now or never. And away we go. 12.875, Thank God, Thanks Jim! Now, I never have to go back to this place again until next year when Jim returns. Back to my close 1/8 strip where I sit in the staging lanes 5 minutes on the average. I need 373 gears.

Noelvm,
Great times!!! Texas and California are the hardest states to get a non spraying truck into the 12's...

Congradulations, Noel. Nice run.

I'm going to try to see if I can get another CA truck in the 12's. I don't know of too many trucks here that have run in th 12's. I'm going to try before I wear mine out.

Jay,
Are you running slicks or just the f1's? If you are running on the f1's I would just try slicks and that should get you there...
