I disconnected the cable from the device that drops 4 cylinders on hard shift and my truck still farts, the cable i discoed has a label on it that says SCB, did I get the wrong one or is there something else I need to disco.

 

What did you do? You can't disconnect a "cable" and make it go away. I think you disconnected the Boost valve. That really doesn't nothing, but could harm your truck.

Boost valve? yea thats the one i thought disconnecting the thing a ma bob from the whatcha ma callit would keep truck from farting. guess I was mistaken. I wanted to wait on the chip until other mods were done.

 

That shouldn't do it. You'll need to get a chip to get rid of the fart.

 

Yeah, the flatulation is the 4 cylinder cut off programed into the computer that can only be remedied with a chip.
