Talking Pics of Latest Mods - Kudos to TampaSVT and Hilander

Just thought I'd post a pic or two of my latest mods - the keyless entry (which you can barely see in the picture), the Bullitt gas cap and the piece de resistance - Street Scenes Speed Grilles.

The lower Speed Grille insert was a simple job - take the screws holding the lower insert in and put the new Speed Grille insert in using zip ties. This was a 15 minute job.

The upper Speed Grille insert is a much more difficult affair and I have to send the appropriate thanks out to both Hilander and TampaSVT. Both of them were nice enough to answer my incessant questions and inquiries and Rich (TampaSVT) even went so far as to give me a call, on his dime, to explain how he had done his grille. Without their help my truck would still be "grille-less" and my wife would still be moaning about the grille pieces in her living room! So thanks to these two guys I now have a great looking grille and peace and harmony (and a lot less yelling) in the homestead.

Thanks again guys,

Dan

P.S. Bassani install pics and stock vs. Bassani cat-back dyno numbers next...

Schweeeeet! Great job, man.

Yeah, yeah. I'm a friggin' saint...

You have to put the pictures on the Internet to be able to view them on the page. You can attach them, but people will have to click on them to view.

Later,

Both the upper and lower grille inserts were $85.95 each through JC Whitney. The part numbers are 950-77718 for the upper insert and 950-77728 for the lower valance insert.

If I'm not mistaken the gas cap was about $70 through Fordpartsonline. If you decide to give them a shout ask for Gary.

I've got all the parts to do mine but I won't have it painted for a week or so.

I noticed the black l who stared the post has a ford emblem and the grill appears lighter

is that just because of the lighting out where the pic was taken?
