Lightnings in CA!

Well guys, I just got back from my Vegas trip last night, and I just wanted to say a couple of things:

1 - A big hey and THANKS! to Jay Lincoln! I got into LA about 12:15 and gave him a call, and he took me and a friend out to lunch at a really great place. Super nice guy, but then thats true more often than not with Lightning owners!

2 - I saw 4 or 5 Lightings in one day. Any of these guys on here?

-Silver 2001 - License plate "Dr. Z" - Laguna Beach - on the 18th, Maybe about 2:00pm

-White 2000 with chromed wheels - I think in Seal Beach, maybe a little further north - on the 17th, dusk.

- Silver 2001 on the PCH in Huntington Beach on the 17th - evening time

- White 2000 parked in Boulder City, NV on the 20th. Had a fiberglass lid I think. Time was in the afternoon, maybe 3ish.

All this proves to me is we are a fast growing family!

Glad to hear you had a good time. I'm meeting Jay this week for lunch.

I tried calling you last week, but kept on getting a wrong number. Maybe we can hook up next in March. How far are you from Big Bend? I thought I'd try the "ruslow" thing and do an open road race, although I'll be doing one in a slower class.

I see multiple Lightnings daily out here and most I believe don't frequent this site, unfortunately. Met a guy at a gas station near my home the other day who had a 99 L and didn't even know that there was an aftermarket for Lightning performance parts...

Spike - Sorry about the mix up. My phone was kinda acting up in CA, as was my friend's. We both have VoiceStream service, but it romas with Pac Bell out there, so who knows?

As far as Big Bend goes, if you are talking about Big Bend National Park, no, I'm not close.

I spoke with Stan last night and the race is close to Big Bend NP.
