Question Yet another piston slap question...

I've been reading tons of posts about the piston slap issue, and have pretty much concluded that my truck has it. Before I take it to the dealer, I just wanted to know if you guys think that having a strait-piped exhaust would cause a problem w/ warranty or anything at the dealership? Just would rather be safe than sorry with the voiding of the warranty, and I just got my JL stage II ram air but I think I'm gonna wait to put it on till after I get it back. Appreciate all input!
Thanks,
Jeff

Just my opinion J but I wouldn't take a chance on going to the dealer with an engine problem and let him see I had straight pipes. I have a good relationship with my dealer but I don't think he would go for that one. Anyway they are just going to tell you that its normal for you to have piston slap, they will tell you that nothing can be done and to just drive it. I wouldn't bother going until it starts effecting performance such as power loss, then they can do something about it.
