How to remove ballpoint ink line?

How to remove ballpoint ink line?

don't know how I managed to do it,but got a line of blue ball point ink about 3" long on fake(?)suede on side of passenger seat. Anyone know how top get this off SAFELY without discoloring fabric? Any help will be appreciated. thanks

There are all kinds of backyard recipes for stain removal. I believe in the ones brought to you by the company that makes the fabric for our seats.

I've heard that hair spray will work, at least that what i use on my couch ????

I used nail polish remover and a toothbrush. Worked great.

i would try rubbing alcohol.... i think i would try it out on another peice of material first. nail polish remover might work but it is harsh, basically acetone.

You're right- it would be too harsh. It was hairspray I used NOT nail polish remover. I used the nail polish remover on the dash to take care of a permanent magic marker line left behind by a stereo installer one time. So many stains....
