Tranny Fluid Question

I was just wondering if anyone has ever run Type F fluid in their tranny. This fluid is what i use to run in all my race cars and was always recommended by trans builders. It is thicker for more protection and for more tranny line pressure as well. Would it do anything to hurt my tranny. Type F not Type FA by the way.

I have heard a lot of racer do this in all sorts of auto's, even chevy turbo 350's 400's etc. I have also been told products like the B&M trick shift fluid is nothing more than type F with some color dye.
