Question Glass Springs?

Want a 2" drop on the rear of the new truck and may be up to buying the springs instead of the shackles. Anybody got anything to say about the springs? Who is using them? How bout a link to the site, been there but forgot to add it to favorites. Also does anyone know if a '00 chip can be reburned for a '02? If I don't sell this truck outright I'll strip it and trade it in. Thanks

Cool Composite springs

Hey KGM,

Mark here (LFP). The composite springs I'm offering will drop your L 2". They will also improve traction, reduce wrap-up, improve weight transfer, and drop L weight by approx. 80lbs. I have them in stock and began shipping Wed. if your interested please shoot me an email and I'll get you the info. you need.

Thanks
Mark/LFP

I think it's the same as mine. Can a '00 be reburned to a '02? Mark is anyone running these springs now? I'd hate to be the guinea pig, still remember some carbon fiber driveshafts ending up in the trash.

I'm using the fiberglass springs, so far so good Last time out I had a new best 60' of 1.63 my previous best with the steel springs was a 1.65. I have about 1500 miles on mine and 8 1/4 miles runs.

Do you have any other traction devices on your truck? Did you get the low 1.6's on springs only?
Thanks

Yes, I have JDM traction bars and 28" MT ET/Drags. The fiberglass springs saved 72 lbs and seem to help the truck transfer the weight better
