Does Europe have a drag racing sanctioning body like the NHRA?

Of all the stuff I see on Speedvision and all, I never see anything like drag racing overseas. Europe or Asia.

 

There are a couple of strips in Austraila, Aussie Drag Way, and there have been a couple of the Nationals televised on ESPN. Don't know the sanctioning body's title. AHRA, Aussie Hot Rod Association maybe but then all the aussie men would want to be a member

 

Those Europeans aren't accustomed to good old tire smokin', pavement wrinkling American muscle cars. If you look at their fast cars you'll see they would be afraid to twist off their dainty axles.
