Metro Detroit Westsiders, I need your advice!

I just moved into Canton, and I need to take my Lightning in for some service, can you guys recommend a dealership that you've had good luck with and/or trust? I work in Farmington Hills, so anywhere between Farmington Hills and Canton will work.

Thanks!

Body or service?

If it's body...North Bros Ford, hands down!

If it's service, Bill Brown has fixed my problems the first time.

Depends on what you are getting done.

Let me know if you end up at N. Bros or BB...I will put you in contact with some good people.

I need service work done.

I have a driveline vibration at 90+ mph, and a weird intermitten chirping noise(sorta sounds like a cross between brakes squeeking and a fan belt slipping). The chirping happens at all speeds, and I can't quite place where it's coming from.

I've heard some good things about Bill Brown Ford, but a buddy of mine used to work there and he said they illegally used lead filler in their body shop. That was over 10 years ago though!

Thanks,

The vibe at 90 seems to be with most guys that have an '01. I don't believe anyone has found a solid solution. I am going to try Jack Demmer Ford when I finally take it in.

I was having a hesitation between 80-85, and the service mgr said they wouldn't go that fast in my truck!
I talked to the service guy who actually worked on it though and he said he got close to 100.
I don't have that vibration

If you choose BB, then ask for Sean as the service writer and tell him Josh with the red '01 L sent ya. After he rolls his eyes, he'll take care of ya....

I think i'm going to take it into either North Brothers, or Jack Demmer. I'll report back if I have any complaints!
