New Lunar guages, the kind that match the Lightning gauges, are out...

The <cough> defi <cough> look okay, but I want something that matches the stock gauges. It appears that the Autometer lunar gauges will. They have the pyrometer(egt), transmission temp, fuel pressure, and nitrous gauges that I will need.

I have just recieved my DEFI's today. Simply awesome and they even look quality. I used automoter gauges for years and simply put the quality isn't there. Buy the AM boost gauge and see how much the needle is off zero or the egt i had to send back three times due to failure.
I rather spend the money on quality gauges like the defi's.....

I just went to thier site and saw they were coming out, but it looks as though they are waiting until thier 2002 catalog comes out before they are available.

I had just remembered someone talking about these "new gauges" that Auto Meter was coming out with back in September, and now they have pics of them.

sorry to confuse...

 

The Lunar gauges were supposed to come out earlier in 01. They had "issues" with the materials burning out prematurely, so they had to re-engineer the gauges. Initially, they had a blue shade, like indiglo... now I see they come in a green shade. Maybe they'll work this time...
