You guys w/ MagnaFlows: MagnaPacks or the Muffler?!

Right now I have straight pipes, and am thinking of cleaning up the sound a little to get rid of the splatiness. What do you guys recommend, the packs or muflfer? I like it loud, but I want it also clean! Thanks for the input!

I just had a Magnaflow 12468 (what Magnaflow recommended for the L) put on my '01. Not too shabby for a $120, small local shop even had it in stock. This is what it should of sounded like from Ford. I just couldn't afford to go with the whole catback stuff from Borla of Bassani, too much $$ for not enough HP gain.

enjoy................

TXSVT,I work for a large Ford Dlr over here.My aftermarket Mgr hooked me up with the chrome job,but I think it may have been Santa Ana.Cost s/b like $780-800.Shipping incl. The tips are off a Harley Supercrew.Ford sells 'em but my guess is they're pretty expensine.KarKraft sells 'em for $129.I paid $40 When my HD buddy did a custom job on his '01. Hey,Hook a brutha-up with this postin' pics crap!THX-Dave.

Question Mufflers

So in everyone's opinion is it better to go 1 2-in 2-out muffler or 2 1-in 1-out mufflers.

Yea Baby...Are those the Harley tips??If so, did you have to fabricate the pipes between the muffler and the tips to compensate for the different tip angle??

Yeah, new pipes between the back of the muffler and the tips.I also had them pushed out about 1 1/2" more.It all looks pretty clean, next time I jack it up i'll take some pics from underneath.-Dave.

Go with the 14416 Magnapacks. Sweet sounding, nice rumble but without the harsh sounds of straights.
