Purchasing 02

Hello everyone. I'm new to the board. Im seriously considering selling my 4X4 and going to a L. I saw a red one at a local dealer for $32,600. Is this what i can expect to pay al over or can i shop another state or? Also was wondering if anyone has seen the new ford hard tonneau covers, pics, price? Thanx for any help.

Don't sweat the lack of responses...this board is usually pretty slow on the weekends.

I'm not sure about price breaks on the '02 because of the additional numbers (as opposed to my 2000), but it's prolly gonna be harder to find one under sticker here at the beginning of the production run. I'm sure there are some 01s left floating around though, and dealerships are probably pretty interested in getting those off the lots. Just a thought if you don't mind "last year's model."

Hey, thanx for the response. I think I'm goona just go head and dive on in on a new Red 02 L. What the hell, you only live once. Besides, I can get my 21' Triton to the lake faster to go fishin.
I go tomorrow at noon to sign the papers. Any ideas on good tonneau covers? I had a ARE on my 1997 F150ext cab 4x4 and was very happy with it. L8tr

yeah that is BS

no reason to pay sticker anymore....since they had so much trouble selling the '01s.

hamma- I woulda gone to a different dealer immediately. NO test drive= no sale....shuda told him where he could stick it.
