Look at he COG belt on that blower.

This SC looks very much like the one on a Ford pickup I raced. All I saw was his tailgate. Shame on me! He ran a 12.4 with only 4 #s of boost and weighted in at almost 5K#s. He "said" it was stock!
The dude jurked me around for weeks.
It's payback time!

Heh Heh, bring him on, I fear no one .

Joe, if you look closely, you'll see that there is a serpentine belt that drives a shaft, then the shaft runs to the rear of the blower, and the cog drives the shaft to the rotor pulley. The blower is mounted backwards. Pretty neat idea, locates the inlet where the stock LS1 inlet already was.

Yeah so how does the crank spin the blower like that.

Is there some type of alternate crank shaft running un under the blower transfering the power to the other end which is driven by the main crank.

I'm confused with what I just said now tha I read it, But it made sense when I was typing it out, HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Can we get polished blowers Sal? In your new design that is.

Here is the info from the corvette forum.
Note: I've taken the liberty to bold certain sections.

We spoke with our rep at Magnuson and here are the details he could offer:
Retail price- 4950.00 w/satin polish finish. Hi polish at extra cost.
3 year warranty and they may offer a powertrain warranty as well.

100-110 hp gain on a stock C5. More on a modified C5. They reported 450 rwhp on a modified (bolt ons only) C5 on pump gas.

Hood clearance will be a problem on a stock hood. Therefore, you will need an aftermarket hood. Magnuson is working with a manufacturer on this...
so there will be a hood available. Also, we will test other hoods also as to what fits as well.

On the heat issue as some members have inquired about, Magnuson recorded the air intake temperature at 135 farenheit at 5psi boost. So the issue with these kits not making power because of heat generated is not true.

Superchargers are fine for corvettes, but I would rather have the a twin turbo any day. 200+ MPH.
