Who leaves the dealership sticker on their truck?

Mine came off BEFORE I left the lot. Salesman asked me why and I stated, "I paid you for the truck, you didn't pay me to advertise. You gonna pay me?" He kinda shrugged and left.

I left the dealer, removed the license plate frames and some dealer sticker they put right on the tailgate. Maybe if they knocked 5 grand off the price, i might of left the sticker but not the license plate frames.

I tried to get my father to take the sticker off of his truck. He didn't. The reason, "They send me business." I guess that is a pretty good reason.

I left my 'Gene Evans Ford' decal on because they gave me a pretty good deal--with no hassles. Recently, it started lookin' 'ratty' so I lifted it off.

That CornerCarver is a 'tuff' guy!(And before you 'reply', just wait until the 26th of Jan! New 'smack' is goin' down --did I say that right?)

Took mine off as soon as it hit the driveway. Luckily it was the individual lettering type on the tailgate and cam off really easy. Had a dealer put one of those stupid things on AFTER I had bought a new '91 Ranger as they were "prepping" it in the back. I was pissed but didn't want them to touch it again so I took it off in their parking lot and left the lettering with them

I have never seen a california dealer put a sticker on a vehicle... license plate frames yes, but stickers no. I have seen galpin ford take off the ford oval on the tailgate and replace it with a galpin version.

I told the dealer I would not accept the car if it had any damn stickers on it.

When I picked it up...it had their license frame on it. I promplty pulled out my swiss army knife, took off the frame...replaced it with my Penn State frame and handed their crappy one right back to the salesman...and said "I won't be needing this"

part of the deal when I bought my 99 was "NO" dealer sticker.......and....... the deal of me trading my 99 for the 01 hinged on you know what NO DEALER STICKER ! Now when the new 3 valve, new body style comes out, guess what the deal breaker will be?

When I ordered my 01 I told the salesman that when the truck came in he was to take it and park it in a safe place and no one was to touch it. No washes, waxes or buffing.
He called me on a tuesday afternoon and said it was there and he was taking care of it. I went Wednesday morning to get it and it was just like it came off the truck, plastic on the seats, plastic on the bumpers.
We took the plastic off most everything and went over it real good looking for flaws then I went home and washed and Zainoed it.

I didn't want just any flunkie at the dealer washing the truck with the scrub brush and putting tire shine all over the place. I have seen some strange things while hanging around dealers.

Thumbs up Marvin is Right!

I told my Dealer the same thing. I will prep it myself!

They have a whole checklist of things to go through. I sisned off on the list so they wouldn't have to touch it!

Mine says "American Ford", and it is metal. I think it looks really cool, so I left it on. The dealership is very good to work with as well.
