Finally met up with "Spike" and we went out to lunch and had a nice chat. I think he really pointed me in the right direction toward solving my traction problems, plus he gave me a heads up on Thunderhill which sounds like it might be a ton of fun. Then, to cap it off, I got back home and found a long, thin package from JDM on my doorstep. The traction bars arrrived, and I can hardly wait to get them installed. By golly, between them and the 555Rs we gonna have traction, you betcha!

 

I just got home - it's about 1 am, raining hard with a strong wind. Meeting Alphadoggy today was a kick! Imagine an older guy that is as young at heart as the rest of us, if not more! There wasn't an intersection or short stretch of road that didn't end up with two tire marks behind us.

Woa Doggy! You should set some time aside to go to Thunderhill (See Thunderhill HP Street School for more info). It's great fun and well worth the money.

The lunch at Evita's was great and I'm just starting to get hungry again.

PS: You guys wouldn't believe the size of his boat. A photo of it pulling it through an intersection would be great to see.

Judging by his enthusiasm, I'd say he's in his twenties.
