I am going to be recieving $300 from selling my race go-ped to a friend. With that $300 I plan to upgrade my L. Now my question is what to get.
Here is the combos I am thinking of:
Seat Converion - Save the Left over towards guages
Filter and 4LB Pulley - Sell 2LB and save the money towards plugs
(How much can I get for a used 2LB pulley?)
Filter w/ outerwear and Plugs
Save money for new rods - I know i dont need them now but I will in the future.

which one of these combos do you think i should go with or do u have anything else in mind that would benifit me.
there has been a lot of arguing back and forth about the open mouth filter doing nothing for performance. but it has also been said that the benifets are greater in colder weather. around here, it rarly gets over 80º, the usual temp is 65º. So if the open filter is better for colder weather then I think it would be good for around here. plus, ill get a lot of blower whine, and who doesnt like blower whine???'

Screw that, sell the 2lb pulley and get a 6lb pulley!

you shoud be able to get 150 for the lower pulley, I just sold mine for that!

 

if i sell my 2lb i think i could get maybe 175 + 300=475
475-320(6lber)=155
155-100(plugs)=55
55-20(reburn)=35
35-30(oil breather)=5

sounds good, ill still have $5 left over!!

I think you would be better off with the NGK BRE7's or what ever they are. there only 20 bucks too! sal has them, thats what I'm running with a 2lb upper, 4lb lower and a 50shot of juice! you should do the same. save's 80 bucks too!

 

will do, i just found out that i have an extra, never used, JL 10W3 that im goin to sell to get an extra 125 or so. now i have a total of around 600. sal said a 6lber is too much for an every day truck. so i might go smaller, save some money and get something else, i will have to thinkg about it. i will post when i decides. maybe i should get some DEFI guages?
