Power

Hey i need some help from all of you that installed stereo systems in your L's. Where through the fire wall did u run your power cable from the battery? The only way i can see to do it is through a drilled hole beside the battery. any preexistin g holes i am not seeing that would make this alot easier? Thanks

I cut a notch out of the boost line gromet.
Ran the power wire in the textured trim piece at the top of the firewall. Hid the fuse too.

check this thread: https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...threadid=60091

run your wires behind the battery, on top of the inner fender, then up thru the grommet under the passenger side door sill.
remember to use a fuse!

the reason my power wire goes towards the front of the truck is because i have a circuit breaker mounted in front of the battery. after the wire goes thru that, it goes behind the battery.

maybe i'll go out and take some mo' better pics..
