5lb pulley w/no chip?

Does anyone know if I'll be ok running a 5lb. lower pulley with no chip? I assume it would be like running a dry nitrous system where as the cumputer will sense a lean condition and increase fuel pressure. Am I correct in this assumption or should I hold off installing the pulley until I get the chip. Thanks

Not No, but HELL NO!!! Dont install ANY pulley without a chip properly tuned for it! Your just asking for trouble. Be patient and wait till you get the chip before installing pulley.

Burned electrodes as a minimum, holed piston(s) are a definite possibility. Don't even think about it without a chip setup for a 5# pulley. Some guys are running the 2# with no additional reburn, but that appears to be the limit.
