Thumbs up Only One Leg & still getting Kills!!!!

Well I got bored laying around the house, so I had to take the L out tonight. Went to the Local street races, a guy there was talking trash about me wrecking my bike and then started in on the L, saying its a waste on money and how a truck shouldnt be raced. He has a 70 Nova with alot of NOS on it. Its been like 10.90's on gas & 11.80's on motor. I made him unhook his NOS line and told him to just let me go first. He didnt have his street slicks so it was a Radial on Radial match, though I was at a downfall since I had my 20's on... I know he cant run in the 11's on radial's with that car & I wanted him bad. Plus I need to try the Denso's & the Bassani out!!!

Needless to say the L & its one legged driver put about 5 cars on him before the end of the 1/4. The 20's hooked decent tonight!!! And man the L pulled good through the top end. I still gota get a reburn for the cold air, I have fuel additive in right now, but she would Ping if I didnt!!! I beat the old rag Nova bad & in style!!!! I even tapped the brake lights on him with my left ankle thats in the cast!!!!

Question

Richard, I hope you are feeling better and are getting better! Any way how much air pressure do you run on daily driving with your Lightning's 20 inch tires and rims??? The speed shop that mounted and balanced my 20 inch 2001 rims and tires said "I should go with 40 air pressure all around" what do you think??? How much air pressure do you run your Lightning with the 20 inch rim and tire at the 1/4 mile??? Sorry for so many questions.

djy

Thumbs up

I am glad to hear that you are starting to get out, Good kill by the way. The twenties shouldn't be that bad for you, My truck has run a 12.0 on my 22's so that will be something for you to look forward to when you get your 22's.
Good luck, and get well soon.

Bill
