Ok, so the engineers put the boost relase there because:_______

A. Because SVT wanted to **** you off on a boost dump.

B. They couldn't find any extra Type R stickers to stick on the Lightning so they had to limit it's capabilities.

C. Boost Dump saves the engine from excessive overpressure.

I would disconnect with or without a chip--if you plan to 1/4 mile your L. It has been disconnected for 15,000 miles on my L with no SES light or problems. There is another 'system' that protects the eng. too.

Btw, I'm planning on being at the exhaust shop at 3pm tomorrow.

Where exactly is this boost dump switch at or where can i disconnect it at? Pictures would help if possible. Thanks.

Uhmmmmmmm, if you had typed YELLOW Type R stickers.......then diffentely B.
But, since you didn't ....................C?
