I've never posted on F150online. I usually post as ldog2 on the NLOC but since its down I guess I'll post my question here. My local Ford dealer is giving me what seems to be a good price on a cobra r throttle body so I was wondering if anyone else would be interested in me getting them one also. I don't know how many I can get yet b/c I wanted to make sure people would be interested before I asked. I don't want things to get too complicated so I was thinking about trying to get 10 of them and sell them for $300. That price would include shipping and it would be up to the buyer to change the linkage on it. From what I understand its not that big of a deal. Hey Mike, just a bit of advice, you might want to verify that you are getting the correct part. Since you are looking to buy a few and sell them for $300, I have to assume you are getting them for less, and dealer cost on the Motorsport single blade TBs is considerably more than $300.

 

Thats what I was wondering. Thats why I was going to check it out tommorow. I asked for the cobra r throttle body, isn't that correct or is the one that comes on the car different from the one FMS sells.

 

I think the linkage is reversed on the Lightning.

 

99svtlightning, you're right about the linkage being reversed but all you have to do it reverse the tps and switch with your stock lightning linkage according to the tuners. If I'm incorrect someone please tell me. Thanks
