What did u trade or sell for the L

I had a 1988 T-Bird turbo coupe that was my winter beater - so the Cobra could stay parked. The T-Bird got hit a few times and I kept saving the insurance money. The last time it got hit, I had the whole car redone and then sold it - which was the down payment on the Lightning. Not bad since the car paid for itself, and I got a decent down payment out of it.

I haven't purchased a L yet... And may not but I am seriously considering it. Having said that, I recently sold my '01 F150 Harley Davidson. I am currently carless. It didn't hit me until the morning after (gee, that sounds familiar...) but I haven't been carless since my freshman year in college back in '89... Anyway, one of the benefits of living intown in a metropolitan city and working less than a mile away from home, I haven't missed it yet. My girlfriend has her car so she lugs me around... I don't think she's very happy... She told me something about a blood oath between she and her friends on how they will never date a carless bum or something, but I was too busy going through her purse for some change to get me my next 40...

I sold my '99 Roush Mustang early last year to buy my '92 GT. The Roush was a Stage 2. I later added Baer brakes and a Vortech S-Trim. That was a fun car, and at times I do miss it.
After a few months of modding the '92, I decided I really wanted a Lightning. I had ordered a '99 when I decided to get the Roush Mustang instead...
As for previous cars, it's all Mustangs - '65 GTand '91 GT. For now, the Lightning and Mustang share the garage!
