Hit the 12's today!!
Yep, I'm excited...it's been a great day!!! My family, and girlfriend all came out to watch me break into the 12's today at Carlsbad Raceway (where I also first hit the 13's when I first got my L) and I didn't let them down!!!
Daily Driven 2001 L! 21,000+ mi. Chip and pulley
Best was my 2nd run of a 12.86@105, 60ft. was 1.850 (Picture shown)
1st. run was a 12.88@106 with a 60ft. time of 1.962 (picture shown)
And my 3rd run was the slowest of the day at 12.95@105, 60ft. 1.94
It was lots of fun! Hopefully when i get my chip back, I'll be going faster next time.

Hey, thanks everyone!
Chip, 4 lb pulley, and the ET Streets (sorry, thought the picture would have taken care of mentioning that for me).
Temp was between 60-65 degrees....
This track hooks better than all the others I have been to. But still not the best, I felt a little spin (launching from 700-900 rpms).
Dale, don't worry, next time I'll for sure e-mail you. I posted a message on this board, thinking more would show up, there were two other L's there, a Silver, and a white one.
Sam, Carlsbad won't win any awards for being pretty. But it's not a bad track. 200' above sea level, good weather. I see 12's in your future. Also, keep in mind, these times with my truck, are hot lapping, I only stopped once to ice the truck down for my last run, and when I did, I could hook for crap, which explains the 12.9. Also Sam, if you want to, I noticed you were thinking about getting some tires, since I'm taking my parts off my truck to get my chip reburned, I won't be racing for a few weeks, if you want to borrow my tires to see how they work for you, just shoot me an e-mail.
