Lowering The Smerf
Hey people. Im going to be ordering the fiberglass leaf springs that drop the rear end 2 inches, 2 inch shackles, and some kind of front end 3 inch loweing. Here is the question...........Who makes a good 3 inch front end lowering kit and how much dough do they want? Thanks in advance.......Look at it, its a monster truck........

The BellTech front springs #4084 aren't bad for a 2" Lightning drop(3" F150 drop). A real 3" drop is substantially different....
I finished trimming(1 ring) and installing the same springs this weekend. Got to test them out this morning and really like the results. I used BellTech Nitroactive shocks.
The key to a true 3" drop is the front bump stops. They make shorter one's or you can trim the stock one's. At 3". you will be resting on them. Makes for an uncomfortable ride for sure. They have to be modified.
An alternative is new lower control arms.

I'm sure Roger Lemere would hook you up with the springs only(Part # 4084?).
Cost should be < $200.00 for the pair.
Don't forget: You'll need a cam adjuster kit from NAPA for the reallignment.
Install takes about 1.5 hrs. (using only pliers and scotch tape).
