I got to thinking about tallimeca's post last night on the math and I think I figured out what he's talking about. The only section he can see is 'Other F-series Trucks'. He can't see the other nine sections.
So, his math adds up and there is an overwhelming majority of Lightning owners here.
Everyone is beating him over the head to post in the correct Forum and all he can see is, Supercrew, Diesel, Pre-'97, etc.
I think I would develop an attitude, too!
I'm sorry but, that was just too funny.

hehe
talli,
Just countering your (and 'KILLA's) points with a bit of reality, that's all. Don't take it personal, I sure don't.
Ashenor,
BZZZZZZZ, incorrect-o-mundo, no prize for you.
Irrelevant to the grand scheme of this thread, I am gainfully employed in the service industry and enjoy it. Thanks for asking.
All,
Doug and Steve do a FINE job with this site and if it takes having to move irrelevant post(s) not specific to an SVT F150 Lightning elsewhere to break the habit a majority of us have in exclusively posting here (self included), so be it.

This suggestion might be just too simple
Steve,
At the top of the first page in the Lightning forum post a message with the *subject line* reading something to the effect:
Please do not post off topic/non Lightning related posts in this forum. Use General Discussion or the appropriate forum. O/T posts will be deleted.
Sometime the simplest answers are the best and a constant reminder will be there all the time for all to see.

Not a bad idea BUT this has been on the top of the forum for months.....
It is ignored everyday. Even when I post Steve’s quote even that isn’t enough.

I understand that in some cases there is merit to a closed thread. As long as the reason it was closed isn’t reposted just copy paste the interesting parts of a thread into a new thread and stay away from the reasons the thread was closed. If the subject was intriguing then the new post will get the topic started again.
I am learning that deleting the threads per Steve’s direction would be easier.....

Chikenears - if it was that easy don't you think Doug's FAQ page would be more read and we would see alot of older topics brought 'TTT'

I have been keeping track of everyones posts., What I have learned is to keep my big mouth shut. I never thought it would mushroom the way it did.

Thus one of problems of 'type' rather than voice spoken word.
Chickenears, I didn't see the frown directed at you.
I saw it directed at all of the text following the BUT and the frustration placed on the moderator.
(Of course, written language is much more effective for me because I sound just like Kermit the Frog)
p.s. I'm not rolling my eyes at anyone...
