Thanks for the tip. It only took me about 1-2 minutes to remove the hooks, so time isn't what i'm worried about. I plan on using this rug for extracurricular activities, and i'm picturing her banging her foot into the hook and freakin out. I know this is unlikely, but now you guys have a glimpse at how deranged my thinking can be at times.

It could and I wouldn't chance it. Consider the outcome if it came loose while going 110+ mph downhill exiting a corner, entering a braking zone with another car (or cars) following closely behind.

Her?? Extracurricular??

If I read you correctly, you're planning on something other than hauling furniture in the bed of your truck.

Banging her foot? Let me ask you this, is she a screamer, like to talk to Jesus during extracurricular activities? If so, I have the answer in two words.

Bungee cords. They work every time!

If that's the case a pair of steel toed work boots might be the answer. Don't tell me that you don't like women in boots!

Here's a good mod:
Install a power converter and install a hidden plug in the truckbed for the pump on the aerobed!

I like the aero bed idea, but I only use my truck bed as a last resort, or for spontaneous adventures.
