man, That picture doesn't even resemble the original motor, and the piston is a sight, I have never seen one in that shape. Any way, how many L's are thier in Alaska, and how many SVT dealers? It seamed that we only saw a ford dealer in Fairbanks and Ancherage (sp?) and one more silly question, how much sun are you all geting right now?

Well Ak.Silver2K I was just blazzin own the highway when the motor just let go but its cool cause the new one is sittin in the truck right now. And PhillipSVT the only SVT dealer in AK is in Anchorage and we are getting more light every day. About 9 or 10 hours of light right now can't wait till summer.

About eight hours of sunlight up here in the interior. Also very much looking forward to summer and the pretty much "statetrooperless" drives to Anchorage.

No knocking ahead of time? Man don't like to hear about motors going like that. Maybe a WOT run a time or two huh, lol. Do you know Tundra? Maybe see you around next summer.

Yeah I know Tundra he is the reason I had to improve my truck. I just could not stand being slower than a 99 L. He is quick I will give him that but I hope he or some one will step it up cause I have a few things planned and it should be impresive. Maybe you will join us at the track this summer it would be awsome to get a few more Lightnings to race against.

Counting the guys on the board, and the ones I've seen, there are ten that I know of.

Seems to me that we need to get a club together and do some cruisin'. I'd drive down to meet you all a few times a summer.

I bet you all have one of the rarest vehicles in the state. I loved Alaska when we were there, can't wait to go back. we stayed there in valdez in one of the RV parks, (the one that is north of the road that goes toward the boat docks, kinda on a little curve) we eat at the pipeline club, and the halibut stake there was awsome.

Tundra has a good one. He turned some great times for no chip and just straight pipes.

thats awsome about the club. The grilled halibut steak was the best meal, here is a pic of our halibut trip, the one below me is one of mine, I'm the one below the R in the cap.
