Thumbs up Chikenears...axle bumper???

Chikenears - great job on the traction bars and driveshaft loop!
Didn't want to mix this question with your thread, so started a new one.
In your tractionbar.jpg pic, it shows a yellow bumper attached to the frame above the axle. Was this from a suspension kit, or is it available individually aftermarket? I have the 2" drop shackles, same as you listed in your sig, and cut my original bumpers for better clearance, but when it bottoms, it hits pretty hard. Your bumpers look like they are a lot softer. Would love to fit a pair on mine. Are they softer? and where can I get'em??

Anybody else w/ suggestions for softer bumpers?
TIA - chuckw

chuckw, those are the same bumpers that came on my truck. Is yours a 2001? There not very soft at all, just to let you know. I cut the bottom ring off of mine with a 2" rear drop and haven't bottomed out since.

Cool

tnx usahooters - I have a 2000. Bump stop that year was just a black hard rubber block. As I mentioned, I did cut half of it off for extra clearance as you did.
The newer stops look great! hhhmmmmm??
agn tnx - chuckw
