6lb lower pulley owners, input please. dyno graphs too
Wanted to see some dyno graphs of those with 6lb lower pulley's.
Was thinking about adding one and was curious what you guys thought.
Is it over revving too much?
Did u notice a big power increase?
I heard the peak #'s weren't all that substantial, was curious what the overall graphs looked like compared to the 4lb.

Let me help ya here Andy...........I just took my truck down from 6 months of storage and took her for a ride. I put Greggs valve body on over the winter so these were my first impressions
It firms up the shifts alot. It does not snap your neck at any throttle position. All shift points are very frim. I can get sideways into second at WOT!!!! Remember I have no pulley or chip.

Sorry I dont have any Dyno Graphs (yet) but I can give you my input on JL's 6 lb pulley. I've had it on my truck around 1,200 miles now and not one problem just one word of advice if you havent done it already get new plugs if you are going to do this (preferably Denso Iridium Spark Plugs). Beside the very loud difference in blower pitch from my 3# to a 6# The power increase is a lot more from my 3#er or so it feels. With a G-Tech Pro with my old pulley ( Jl's 3#) I pulled off a 0-60 at 4.83 with okay traction and a 1/4 mile of 12.88 ( or so the g-tech said ). With the new 6lber i pulled off a 0-60 of 4.6 and a 1/4 of 12.32 I did a couple of runs with it but that was the best times i could get with it. Hope this somewhat gives you an idea in the power increase from a 4# to a 6#. I will upload my dyno graphs on March 3rd when I take it in.
