Question $32,820 for an '02 Lightning...

I just test drove an '02 right by me in New Jersey...the sticker read $32,820 and there was no budging on the price at all. Anyone seen/paid more/less? I know that they can get it, and I've heard of dealers selling for over sticker, but I wonder what others have seen. Any input would be appreciated.
P.S. the only option was the soft tonneau cover at $230.00.

If you can find one on x-plan, you'll pay around $28K.

Don't worry about it....XPlan is only for people who are freinds or family of Ford employees, or if you work for a supplier or associated with ford in some way like that.

he he
You people don't read the FAQ do you. Much less do a search. It says at the top of the forum, NEWBIES PLEASE READ FAQ!

With that said, let me say, I am not related to FMC (Ford Motor Co.) in any way. I just happed to enjoy a certain sport, and so am a member of a certain org; THAT gets X-Plan pricing. Now anyone can join ($40) and get X-Plan. It's that simple, or was . I'll let you find the catch.

Now start searching.

---
BTW.
X-Plan is $28,789. Plus Tax, Tag, Title and what ever. Anything over is either extinuating circumstances or you got played. Anything under, take them on their mistake.
Happy Shopping.
Hint take many test drives.

Test Drives are sweet- especially when they just toss you a plate and the keys and say, "see you in a little while"

Mocklab...if you are referring to the experimental aviation thing...Ford caught on and now you have to be a member for 1 year before you can get Xplan. And they are associated with Ford...thus they can get xplan...like I said.

As far as were I am...I am in an undisclosed location...with the VP.

Thats funny, the search option is not available right now and you will slam someone for wanting to get info on a new L . geez. and also if you would do a search you will notice that the x-plan is done alot different from the aviation club you are in now. for 40.00 you cannot get the same as before.
I'm sure someone can help with obtaining a pin number and a dealer to help.
Keep your head up and do not be afraid to look outside of the state.

I go tmine in Bergen County but I did have x paln. I paid $28,927 before tax and it had factory tonnue. I hope you are not dealing with All American Ford they are rip offs they wanted 3k over sticker for a left over
I also waited around there and got no help

I dealt with Pistilli Ford on rt17 in Paramus they gave me a good deal no hassel accepted x plan. The price you are quoting is like sticker price no discount at all

Hope this Helps

offer them $30,000 and see if they take it. Thats what I paid for mine last year. Now with auto sales slow they just might take it.
