SVT Ranger at Autorama

SVT is showing a Ranger with Lightning drivetrain components (engine, trans, narrowed rear end) at Detroit’s 50th Autorama. I didn’t have a camera. Can someone post pictures?

There was a yellow Splash there a few years ago and it was called "Thunder" It has the Gen 1 drivtrain in it. Pretty sweet looking little truck.

Cool Mini Lightning!!

So what are they gonna call this truck?? Static Electricity!! So if they make this truck faster than the Lightning they will have to put a bigger power plant in the Gen 3 Lightning!!!

Cool

Interior shot. It's a little dark (whole lot)

I took a lot of photo of this vehicle top and bottom. The long tube headers, the exhaust system and the front and rear suspension. It was so new and fresh that the paint had not fully cured. Ah the buzz you can get from fresh paint plus the looks of this truck.

P.S. This is the 50th Anniversary of Autorama and is perhaps the best one that I have attend (been going since 1964). Some of the finest past Ridler Award Winners and Alexander Brothers cars on display. Great show.

Now that would make a fun little grocery getter. Did the re-route the intake tract to clear the hood? Thought it was a rear entry blower at first. The color matched engine parts look great. That must be one very short drive line.
