Question what pulley?

im thinking about a pulley for my next mod. im not looking for a lot of boost, i want to raise it about 2 to 3 lbs. and what is the differance between lower and upper pulley. which one should i do? my truck isnt driven daily as much and i only go to the track once in a while.thats why i dont really want to go with the #4 pulley.what do you guys think?thanks

I would go with a 2# lower from PowerSurgePerformance... The 3# by JL in my sig isn't made anymore and the upper was very hard to install.

I agree a 2lb lower is the way to go. Much easier to install/remove.

Talking

Put a 4# pulley on and be done with it. After you put the 2# on and see how it runs you will want a 4#er. Trust me! Jim

#6 enough is never enough

the upper is a pain, for minimal gain I do agree, but I have it anyway

Just put the 2# PSP on this morning. (Thanks to Silver-Bolt)
The first thing I noticed is that the boost comes on alot quicker.
Even part throttle acceleration is producing boost where there was little to none before. Also, the boost guage used to peg at the top but now runs beyond that. Feels a bit stronger. I don't really see how you can get hurt with a 2 or 3#. They tell me that the chip is what will really wake it up. I think that is next.

Interchangeable Pulley

You can get that. It is sold by XXX (in my sig). That way you can get the 2 and go to the 4 in 10 minutes if you like.

Please tell me that I have it wrong, you are running a 2 lb pulley with NO chip! I believe you are in jeopardy of running lean. Lean = motor damage, thats a bad thing. Talk to your tuner, he knows best!!!
