did you try this?:

posted by SLVRLTNG,
you don't pull any wires out of anything. Go to the auto parts store and get #14-#18 quick splice, it's blue(see photo in above post). Pull switch from dash and just "connect the 2 wires together with the splice", very simple...no cutting, pulling or splicing period.....just clamps over brown and yellow wires

do you have the same switch as the L? I would assume it's the same. This is what I did and my fog lights work all the time now, no need to pull switch out.....JR

Turn the switch plug over and the numbers are on the back
of teh molding. Splice #12 and #2 together (2=White and Black stripe)

#12 is brown ....

The4 butt splice is necessary ... jusr insert wires, squeeze
shut ond bingo ... Lights Camera Action ....

I tried to "pull on" the fogs in all the positions before
I spliced. My wife helped with the visuals <grin>
They didn't go on in the parking light position until I
did the #2-#12 splice .... Now they can be on or off
at all positions.

I will post a picture of the butt splice in a sec (soon as I find my
spare one....)

pgh_medic ,
the connector jumps them together, you just clamp it over the wires that are in place. Do not remove any wires from the connector. If you go to the auto parst or even radio shack you can get the splice. I got 5 in a pack for about 2.00. You are more than welcome to one, but you'll have to pick it up....or something.
Any way, you'll also have to open the 1 of the holes in the splice, takes about 10 seconds.........JR

terrible pics cause I am too close ...

Remove the little blue plastic "stop" in the
back tube first (razor knife works) Then slide
both wires into the tubes, press the metal
down being careful to center the wires as
you do, then close the lid ....

PICS are in my CLOSE UPS gallery ...

From the source...

Click for photo!
This is the pic of the original install. You can see the brown and black/white wires coming out of the blue ScotchLok, and the ScotchLok itself is sealed shut with electrical tape.

(You can tell the flash is too close, because in reality my skin isn't white... I'm asian!)
