Unwanted oil in intake boot

Have a puddle of oil gathered in intake boot just ahead of MAF end of boot. As I've read in many threads, I was expecting some sort of filmy coating but not a puddle of oil.
Only 2 mods I hace are boost dump bypass and k&n panel filter, it has 4200 miles on it.
I don't have a chip so I can't go the Breather cap route.
Can I disconnect the hose from the intake boot and put a catch can on it , without throwing some sort of error code to the computer.
What can I do to eliminate this without replacing the stock chip ?

All and any help is greatly appreciated.

It is a known issue and when I took off our stock throttle body it looked like crap because of the oil. You need a chip becuase of the unmeasured air comming into the motor through the hole where the tubes goes to the valve cover. You can get the breather mod, but you need to find a way to plug that hole.

Just a little side note. Our computers dont come from the factory with chips. There is a plastic cover in the place where you would install a chip. Not trying to bash just wanted to let u know.

Give metco a call, they have a kit that plugs up the boot and put a crank case breather on the truck. Its a nice setup and I like it.

You don't have to have a chip for this one.
