Re: Front Sway Bar End Links Installed

Thanks chicken, I was looking at those in the Jegs catalog this weekend and I was going to figure out what size I needed but you did the dirty work for me already! SWEET!!

Did you change out the rear units also?

RT,

I couldn't believe I found them in Pep Boys. They never have anything I need. I went to NAPA first and they just stood there with their mouths hanging open and didn't have a clue what I wanted. If it ain't in their computer, forget it!

I'm still waiting on the rear springs ( HURRY UP MARK@LFP ). I am planning on cutting 3" out of the rear end links and welding them back together.

The front links were $14.95.

Hey chickenears, if it is a 2" drop, Why a 2 5/8 end link? Is that the closest you can get or is there some adjustment, or is that what just fits right? Thanks>>>>>>>>>>>>

Because the stock has a 4 5/8" mounting length. I wanted to shorten that by 2". Overall, the stock bar is 8".

Thumbs up

I'm getting all misty-eyed over here.

Chicknears- looks good, man. Damn good.
(Cutting the rears is cool. Sleeve around the weld, though for strength. . .you'll need it.)

Your set-up is gonna be a case study in how to improve the L suspension for high performance street/mild track driving.

You are gonna ***** when you feel how GOOD your L swings turns.

Don't be timid. . .it will HANG 40-50 mph turns, provided you have the correct line and your tires are in good shape.

Good job on the install.

Hey, Rob, that truck of yours is an inspiration to a lot of us. You set some trends. That is an awesome looking ride. Makes me glad I got black.

hahahahahaha!!! I knew this post would bring you out of hiding!

Please, let me formally thank RobG for his help too. He's the one that inspired me to start off with. If it weren't for him, I'd still been reading posts trying to figure out what to do.

I love ya brotha!

Here's Rob's Hooters Pimpallac!
