Thumbs up Denso's

Never tried the TR5's

Tried the TR6's twice and threw them away both times

I have tried the Denso IT16 and IT20's and had great sucess with both of them with never a problem

Go with the Denso!!!

Depends on your mods on whether its critical to get them. Near stock I wouldn't bother. When I went from 2#-4# pulley the added compression caused the stock plugs to miss badly up in the RPM range. Actually slowed my 1/4 mile times. Switched to the Densos and the miss went away and 1/4 mile times returned.

I would go with the IT-20's with your setup. I run the IT-20's in my truck with no problems.

If they are to high priced for you, the TR-6's would be my next choice. I have some friends running the TR-6's and they seem to like them.

It seems most who have ran the Denso's really like them as for me I saw no improvement with them so I went back to the TR6's - my personal favorites

Denso IT20's greatly improved my idle and dropped my ET by a tenth. Best price I found was 6.28 a plug. Good luck finding that deal!!!

Great plug

I put my plugs in at 12,000 miles and couldn't beleive the difference over the stock plugs!!!

I can't tell you if they are that much better than the TR5/6 plugs but I can tell you that when I have to put polugs in again... it'll be Denso's...

I think they're a great plug.

Running IT-20's now for about 2 weeks. Truck runs MUCH smoother, starts a little better, seems to be more responsive. No track times or anything like that, yet. I LIKE 'EM!!! I figured it was a 1 time cost, therefore I didn't mind too much the high cost.

WOW it seems like everyone has the IT-20's. I run the IT-16's with mods listed below and my Bolt runs as smooth as a babies posterior My idle is perfect and top end I have NO missing at all. Oh ya I also get no detonation.

Soap,

I considered the IT-16's, but with the advice of my tuner, I went with the IT-20's. I pull with my truck, and overall, we thought these would be a little better. Maybe you 160 thermastat is helping you run the IT-16's. I may be mistaken, but aren't the 16's a little hotter plug?

Yes they are 1 heat range hotter than the 20's and 2 ranges hotter than the 22's.
