What's the name of the stuff you can use to up octane???Where do you get it??? How do you mix it??? I need 100 octane for a money race and the local shop is OUT!!!

I saw once that NOS makes an octane boost. I also heard there's a place in Manteca CA that sells 100 octane.. but I guess that doesn't help you. Sorry

 

Go to your local sherwin williams or paint supply and get you some Toluene or Xylene. Rule of thumb is 1 gal of Toluene or Xylene to every 3 gallons of gas. This will give you 100 octane.
The Xylene has a little higher octane rating, but you need to add about 6 ozs. of marvel mystery oil to the tank to replace needed lubricants. You do not have to add the oil to the Toluene. It runs about $6.00 a gallon. To stop my detonation, I pour one gallon of Toluene to a half tank of gas.

Make sure you wear rubber gloves or something. You really don't want Xylene on your skin.

 

toulene is bad stuff i was forced to stop donating blood because i had traces of it in my blood from work,i no longer work at that place!!
