Does it require a gasket, or is an O ring? Any hints or tips would be greatly appreciated!

Don't forget to drain as much anti-freeze as you can. I just slipped in a 160 yesterday. Easy job.

What Silver Bolt said--------attach a 3/8"(?) vacuum line to the nipple that is next to the drain plug and drain out 1 1/2 to 2 gals. You won't spill a drop that way and you can pour it back inti the reservoir(with the eng. running).
