I had JL recently reburn my chip for some new spec's, namely 94~95 octane fuel. Yep, pinging at tip in, pinging at WOT, etc. Changed out the fuel filter, same stuff. My sig has my MOD list in it for an idea of my spec's. Ok, here's how you KNOW the tuner made this thing fire 90 degrees before TDC:

Added 1 can "108 Octane" (Pep Boys, Methonal, 32oz)

Still pinging...

1 can "Octane Booster, Turner Laboratories" (Autozone MTBE, 32oz)

Still pinging...

1 GALLON Xylene (mixed to with the 1/2 tank of gas, with the above still in it)

And I CAN STILL can hear some pinging at tip-in and WOT.

had the same problem here now i have no detenation but now the truck does not feel strong i have 5lb chip/filter and only ran a 13.4 with just chip/filter i ran 13.2 just send it back for a reburn and tell him what the deal is he will take care of it for u like he is for me later
