I must agree with the majority here, what is another couple weeks wait to get the vehicle you REALLY want??? I had a 99 XLT 4x4 I had to order prior to my Lightning. I waited 2 months and 2 week for it. I ordered it EXACTLY like I wanted, so it was worth the wait.

Look what happened to this guy!! He also got impatient while waiting for his L delivery and spent way too much time picking his nose.

You complain about waiting 7 weeks.... There are people on this board that had to wait four or five months! Great things come to people who wait...
Also, you turn around and buy a Wranger? It's doesn't even compair to the Lightning.
Not to ment to be a flame, but I think we have another troll....

Hey guys:
I know CantDrv55. He's become a good friend since we met at our track(SDR) last year. He and I ran the 1/4 a few times--him in his beautiful Firehawk and me in my lowly pickup.
He's a young guy and therefore, a little impatient although the dealer did screw around and lied to him--several times. He even drove to Atlanta(2 hrs) to see what he might be able to buy--but no x-plan. He didn't know that some of the Ford employees give their x-plans away until I told him last night. Too late--so sorry!
I told him he'll have to park his new Wrangler behind the men's room at SDR because it's so gaaaay . Then he can stomp my ets with his Yamaha R6..........
