Thumbs up "Shiny Badge" update!

Hey guys, just did the shiny badge mod and it looks great. Much thanks to the "L" owner who started this. A tip for those who have not done this yet: Go to a make-up store (better yet ask the wife to go, she will be glad too!) or possibly a pharmacy and pick up some of these "make-up" applicators. All it really is is a Q-Tip that is shaped like a cone instead of rounded. This really made getting into the corners much easier!!!

Have any of you guys used acetone on the tailgate emblem to make it "shiny" also?

i think the black would look better w/o it done. id like to get the black on my emblem painted silver to match the truck. so it wouldnt have the black and the word "lightning" would stand out better.
