geez guys, you L's are still limited editions. They only make what, 5K a year out of how many trucks? Just because they make them every year doesn't mean they aren't limited edition, and also the reason alot of you probably see alot of L's is most likely because there are alot of L's in one area. In jersey i've only seen 3 L's in almost 2 years. They are rare around here. I don't see many HD's here either, or cobra's. It seems to work out that there are areas with high concentrations of L's or HD's, and areas where they are barely ever seen. I wouldn't be worrying about being exclusive too much, at least they aren't doing like the HD's and increasing the numbers made each year. For 02 i think its up to 12K up from 7500 in 00. anyway, it would be cool if they made the yelllow L for 03 instead of/ or in addition to blue, and maybe change that color every year. i wonder what an all chrome L would look like

Harley#356: I have to agree with you on the concentration of L's and Harley's in one area. Just in aprox 2 blocks of where I live there are 3 Harley F150s. I do not see many Ls or Harleys but just happen to have 3 in my area.

there are 5 other lightnings that live withn about a square mile of me, 3 99's, 1 02, and a 94. And I NEVER see any of them. Maybe about once every few weeks i will see a lightning, except at their houses of course.

Seriously? I see lightning all the time in detroit. They are practically commonplace out here.

Would have to be the right shade, though- don't like the dingy mustard color-

Better start saving now...LOL.

There is 2 that live within a mile of where i live. I have seen the Black 01-02 1 time, And i see th 99-00 about everyday parked in the guys rock driveway sitting out side(is there a law against that?) One of our employee's fathers has a silver 01, And I have seen action 911's 1 or 2 times. I have also seen porbleminfecteds L once. But besides that there might be one other L driving around. Just thought i would share

So check this out.

On my street there are at least five L's. Now my street is only 1/2 mile long. There are 3 in my apartment complex alone - mine, a black '00, and a white '99. At the next apartment complex there's a silver '01. At the complex across the street there's a black '02. I've actually heard that there's another one in the complex with the silver one.

At the parking lot at my office, my truck is one of six!!! Two others are red '01's like mine, 1 blue '02, 1 silver '01, and 1 white '99. The funny thing is these are 10 different trucks! None of the guys, and one chick, at work live anywhere near me.

I mean...we would all love to have a car like this that no one else owns...but exclusivity costs money....lots of it...you want exclusive, buy a Bentley. Car companies just can't afford to limit the production as much as we would like.
Funny thing about those exclusive Bentleys... One guy at my condo got one about a month ago. And not two weeks later, another guy got the same model, different color. And their parking spaces are maybe about 5 spaces apart. It just goes to say, exclusivity ain't what it used to be.
