The easy way to drain your stock tranny pan!

Did a factory tech shift kit on erics truck and I didn't feel like getting more fluid on my floor, so bam bam with the hammer thingy I found. (it wasn't a hammer).

This was so much easier then trying to loosen bolts slowly and drain that pan, HAHAHAHAHHAHA. its a good thing he had a 4x4 pan, HEHEHEHE..

I only punch one hole. When i'm done, I will install a $6.00 drain plug in the hole.

I've never gotten an ATF bath yet.

I was thinking about cutting this one up and welding a new bottom to it and making it finned and really really big and wide so it would hold like an extra 5 to 6 qaurts, I wonder ? Its experimental time!

And the next thing he heard was "I need a different pan? I didn't know that!"

I hate fluid baths...funny thing, I'm alergic to MERCON, you wouldn't believe the interesting rashes etc... that I get. Picked a strange line of work, considering...

Factory tech,, i know what you mean,, i run two bakeries and i'm allergic to flower. Isn't it the strangest thing out there, i get rashes and have to go to dermatologist all the time ( its a skin thing, i absolutely hate it when i start sneazing at work, but its weird how i still like to work there. ( dont worry, i can still eat cooked flower thats in food, just flower in the air and i'm finished)

By the way, tranny pan will arrive soon for me,,, i cant wait to install the valv body greg, thanks a ton, i've shown it to all my friends and they definately agree that its a fine peice of work. I took it by my mechanic friend who installs trannies on semis for a living and he had a big grin on his face when i showed it to him,,, especially after today i'm excited, i think i just hit a rev limiter on an automatic shift while getting on the freeway, totally took me by suprise,, its always pretty scary to just slow down so much when you've got the pedal pretty far down.

~Thanks for the tip RTKILLA,,, looks like i'll have some fun with a hammer type thing real soon too
Although i hear transmission fluid baths are good for the skin,, cleans out your pores and exfoliates or something,,:P
~Toast

Don't forget to use a grinding wheel to sharpen the hammer/pick axe thing.

Some of the additive package components in many ATFs are known sensitizing agents. They will either cause or aggrivate allergic reactions. Wear gloves and wash hands thoroughly with soap when finished.

We did well on our install too!

I love the factory tech kit! Its awesome. Now, I just have to get my chip reburned as I have too much line pressure. Heres a pic of everything off.
