I posted about the the difference in ETs at different track before. Running down south at most of the tracks will slow you down. With the right conditions and even a bad tranny 5 tenths improvement at Cecil not unrealistic.

 

This is very true, and I will agree for the race at Bradenton because it was nasty out. But at the Reynolds race, the conditions were optimum, 55-60 degrees, 30.25 bp, and 40-55% humidity. Corrected sea level was about 500 feet most of the weekend. You don't get much better than that, and the local guys said this weather was not normal for down there, a cold front had come in right before the event.
