Need help from as many eyes and ears as possible: 1993 White/White GMC Typhoon vin#1GDCT18Z1P0810180 was just stolen in philadelphia.. Please keep a look out for this truck it is distiguishable be a sunroof.. chrome corvette zr1 wheels.. and a 2" cowl hood.. Below are some pics..

Typhoon! I must live under a rock! Never heard of that model. How long did GM produce it?

 

That's not a bed cover...that's a "from-the-factory" turbocharged GMC Jimmy. They produced the Syclones (truck version) for a few years in the early 90s (wanna say 91, 92, and MAYBE 93) and the Typhoon for only one year, I believe. AWD and HELL on the streets...stock 1/4 and 1/8 times about like a Lightning, but not quite the same top end. Maybe someday I'll be able to add one to my garage. It'd be a damn nice toy.

Thats a very nice looking truck. I dont like GM but the typhoon and cyclone is an exception. The corvette also, i guess.

 

dude all I can say is you got lucky, when I work at the Philly Airport A new Z-28 sat under the underpass for a week , stripped to the frame, they do a very good job there. must of been a joyrider. the luck was on your side this week. I'm sure that insurance would of greesed you on this one.

Good to hear you got it back....I can relate to the feeling of walking out of your house to see the empty parking spot where your car used to sit. I've had 3 stolen here in Miami...all recovered stripped to the bone. No more Mustangs/Monte Carlo S/S's for me! So far no problems with the Lightning but I watch it like a hawk.
